Skye was born in Australia. It was there that she and Daniel met, fell in love and were married. They have a beautiful daughter named India. Skye is a very devoted wife and mother as well as a devout woman of God. As a child and young adult, she suffered a life of abuse and such manipulation and control exercised over her. It is difficult to comprehend. Truly her life as a new creation in Christ is a ministry of it's own. Skye sings from the soul and reaches to the depths of her spirit for the praises she sings. Her singing is dedicated always, to her love of Christ and her deep desire to worship Him. When Skye first joined Into The Light Ministries she had much to deal with, for living under so much control had driven her to a life of hardship. Living like this all of her life made it all the more difficult to change. With many tears and much hurt, she pushed herself and forced herself to make the changes that needed to be made for Christ. She made many sacrifices that truly tore her spirit, but she did not give up. It has taken years for her to become who she is today. And when she writes her songs you can see that there is true thankfulness for what the Lord has done for her and in her life. She is not the person she was when she first came to us, and she is not the person she had even imagined long ago. She has evolved into the likeness of a butterfly. Where once one was only simple and small, it now unfolds it's wings and reveals the beauty of what it was created to be. It is because of the beautiful change in her life, that her music brings beauty to Servanthood. It brings hope to those who have none and it shows just what the Lord can do in your life.
