And so the thought came in too easily to put my brother down

One whisper led to another and I had my brother bound

I could see him struggle in his pain so doubtful of Christ's love

That such a judgment points at him for something he didn't do

The entire body was against this man who was innocent

There were accusations coming her and there to each ear

I could see the devil in his plan so evil and so proud

he was whispering in the ears of man and they spoke his words out loud

The man accused just stood there standing fighting not he did

He put his trust into the Lord cause he knew that he was innocent

I could see the daggers in his back so deeply into his flesh

And the scars I started made him stronger

Song Testimony

The Lord was dealing with me heavily in this area of taming my tongue. I had a major problem with not keeping my mouth shut. I was always putting someone down and gossiping about people behind their backs. The Lord convicted me heavily as I watched the people I said I loved fall apart and yet still stand strong as they heard the words of the enemy spread about them. It brought me to repentance when I saw the damage that my tongue and the motives of my heart had done. I pray that people’s eyes will be opened and hearts will be changed when they hear the lyrics of this song.
